07:00 Departure from Bangkok by car/minibus/coach for Kanchanaburi to visit Allied
prisoner of war cemetery and the world-famous Bridge over the River Kwai. Continue to Petchburi. Lunch at local restaurant. Sightseeing in Petchburi and visit to Khao
Luang cave with its much-worshipped Buddha statues, lined up at the foot of the rock wall. Then climb to see King Mongkut's Summer Palace, with short visits to Wat Maha
Dhat and Wat Ko. Transfer to Petchburi train station. |

Depart Petchburi by third-class train. Arrive Hua Hin and check in at CITY BEACH HOTEL. Dinner and Accommodations.
Remark:
Train schedule is subject to change without prior notice. Evening in Hua Hin is free, with opportunity to explore local night market either on foot or by local foot-pedaled trishaw.
Tuesday/Saturday (Day 2 Hua Hin—Ranong (Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner))
Breakfast
08:00 Visit Marukatayawan, the renovated Summer Palace, made of Golden teakwood. Continue to Prachuap Kiri Khan. Lunch at local restaurant. Then visit Khao Chong
Krajok on an idyllic bay surrounded by impressive peaks. Walk to hillside small pagoda, 415 steps up from the beach, to admire beautiful panorama of this quiet fishing town. Proceed
to Ranong. Short stop at Punyaban Waterfalls before checking in at ROYAL PRINCESS RANONG HOTEL. Dinner and accommodations. Remark:
Drive from Prachuap Kiri Khan to Ranong is approximately 280 kilometers, with few attractions other than palm and rubber trees.
Wednesday/Sunday (Day 3 Ranong—Krabi
(Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner)) Breakfast 08.00 Drive to Phang-Nga. Take a three-hour boat trip through a fantastic and beautiful part of Thailand,
with hundreds of big and small odd-shaped limestone formations jutting out of the water, and many serene, stunning islands, mangroves and caves. This is the area where the James Bond
film "Man with the Golden Gun" was shot. Stop at Muslim village of Koh Panyi, built on stilts in open sea. Lunch at the Phang Nga Bay Resort Hotel. Drive further to Krabi.
En route visit to Tham Bokkorani National Park with its beautiful jungle setting. An underground river rises at foot of the mountain. Check-in at KRABI MERITIME HOTEL. Dinner and
accommodations. Remark:
Drive from Ranong to Krabi is approximately 360 kilometers, passing partly through beautiful mountain scenery.
Thursday/Monday (Day 4 Krabi (Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner)
) Breakfast
08.30 Boat trip to the idyllic island of Koh Poda and Pranang Cave with opportunity for swimming and snorkeling. Return to Krabi Maritime Hotel for lunch. Afternoon
at leisure. Dinner and accommodations at KRABI MERITIME HOTEL. Remark:
During rainy season (May to mid-November) a visit to Poda Island may not be possible due to weather and tides. Tour is subject to cancellation or may be changed to another island.
Friday/Tuesday (Day 5 Krabi—Phuket (Breakfast/ Lunch))
Breakfast 08.30 Visit to Susarn Hoi - Shell Cemetery, and Hat Noparat
Thara, a beautiful fine-sand beach protected by rocky islands. Lunch at the hotel. Continue to Phuket. En route visit to Suwan Ku Ha Cave with its numerous standing, sleeping and
sitting Buddha statues. Also visit the rubber plantation and rubber-processing factory. 16.00-17.00 Arrive Phuket with transfers to your hotel (or Phuket airport) |
